We designed this fun and vibrant pop up book to document the history of the Elephant and Castle, a well known area in the London borough of Southwark with its unique and colourful shopping centre. The book takes the reader from the Romans' early influence on the area, through WWII, and on to the present day with a new, ambitious development.

This book, illustrated by Zoe More O'Ferrall, contains flaps and has a charming pop-up elephant with the castle on his back. It is designed to be a fun journey through the history and people of this interesting part of London as it moves onto its next chapter.
